TWO REMAIN
As a director…
Heidi had the amazing opportunity to direct the first act of Jake Heggie’s Two Remain in the Spring of 2025 as a doctoral project at UMKC. As a director who is also a singer, Heidi is acutely aware of all that a singer is capable of while singing. She strives to create an uplifting and safe environment where every person involved in production feels seen, welcome, and respected.
As well as directing Two Remain, Heidi also sang the role of Krysia. Directing and singing in the same show was simultaneously the most difficult and rewarding musical experience of her career so far.
